New Update! Sweeping Changes and Original Plans to go Full Steam Ahead! (October 2006)

Thank you for the e-mails, your feedback is very welcome! Letting you all know out there that with the landscape of the console world going into a full state of rabies with the Wii and PS3 set to launch within a month that we're on top of it like white on rice. Our tools and instructions will be updated on how to use your Wii and PS3 controllers with the PC, just as you already can with the original xbox and x-box 360 controller. We're particularly excited about the wii, with its bluetooth connectivity and very accurate motion sensing, (check out this link using it to browse the internet.) Imagine everything else you'll be able to do with that little magic wand.

Letting you all know that long awaited showdown we have planned for the cross platform battles between console controllers and good ol' mouse and keyboard is soon going to be upon us. Tell your friends and their girlfriends, because it will be an apocalyptic destiny changing event. We'll have prizes (Wiis, PS3's and Xboxes) with tons of other goodies. We'll be hosting the even on the West Coast in Vancouver, Canada. We'll have preliminaries online. Stay tuned, tell your friends and contact us if you have ideas or suggestions for the event! Paaaece!

What's it about?

Believe it or not, there are people out there who prefer using the xbox controller over the mouse and keyboard for controlling first person shooter (FPS) games. With it's highly sensitive buttons and analogue sticks, the xbox controller is a great tool for such games. Here you'll find all the resources to play any computer FPS game with your xbox (or playstation) controller. These tools work for both the original XBox Controller, and the XBox 360 controller too!

There are some computer games that support native gamepad input, in those games, especially the newer ones you should only need to use the recommended driver software. It allows for rumble support, pressure sensitive input (including all 8 buttons!), dual axis support and more. All of the software available here is distributed as freeware unless otherwise noted!

For all the other games, such as Doom 3, Quake 4, Counter-Strike, Call Of Duty 1 or 2, F.E.A.R., and basically any other game which does not have native gamepad support, you'll need the extra mouse emulation software. This turns your controller into a very accurate mouse, and you'll be able to play the games as if they were xbox titles.
